Despite her sickness, Davan excelled in school. She was a participant of Newfield’s honor society, the Tri-M Music Honor Society, LOTE Spanish Honor Society and was vice president of the Art Honor Society. She received the Attorney Total Triple C Scholarship, the Presidential Educational Award and a Regents diploma.
Davan will certainly be attending Suffolk County Area College in the fall and strategies to study engineering. She was accepted in to the school’s Honors Program.
