Cooler temperatures kept people bundled up as they played in a softball tournament Saturday at Mike Miller Park. Groups competed to assist Zoey Smith a 2-year-old along with leukemia from Murray.
Teams are portion of the 3rd annual Team Elite Choose a Child Softball Tournament.
Zoey couldn’t make it Saturday due to the cold, however her parents Whitney and Jeremy Smith state the assist they’re obtaining from strangers is uplifting.
“It’s outstanding exactly how a community comes with each other and I am so thankful to be from Murray and enjoy a small town,” Whitney said.
