DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) – Hundreds of students, faculty, and moms and dads filled the bleachers of Dickson Higher School’s auditorium with a graduation event unlike any kind of various other in the school’s history.
Peyton Arnold is battling his 3rd bout along with leukemia and may no longer earn it to notice graduation this year. along with every one of his graduation demands met, a event featuring a band, choir, and pupils gathered to notice your man get his diploma.
“Everyone’s been congratulating me, since they understand I’ve been attempting to do this due to the fact that 2015,” Peyton says.
His classmates graduated last May, as Peyton battled leukemia with the 2nd time.
Peyton says, “I received my bone marrow transplant the day prior to graduation.”
Determined to grab a higher College diploma, Peyton received an expansion and completed his courses. Mother Penny Arnold points out she’s proud.
“I’m so honored to phone call Peyton my son. He’s been zero however good with every one of 3 of these battles,” she said. “He has actually surely been an inspiration to the whole Dickson County and I’m honored to phone call your man my son.”
A son that is now a honored graduate of Dickson County Higher School.
Peyton’s good health remains fragile, however he points out he’s attempting to remain good and is thankful with every one of the assist he’s receiving.
