Firefighters climb 69 floors, supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – NBC Right Now

SEATTLE, WA- A lot more compared to 1,000 firefighters climbed stairways Sunday early morning with an excellent trigger at the 25th Henry Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle.

The climb stabilizes The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The firefighters took on the subject of the Columbia Focus in Downtown Seattle, the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River.  They go up 69 floors and take 1,356 steps.

Local firefighters from across our location participated.  Michael Bozeman from the Hermiston Fire Department shared his experience.

“It was a minor bit of nerves. I’ve carried out it before, however you grab a minor nervous since you wish to do an excellent showing.  You wish to complete strong.  It’s quite exciting and pretty.  It’s a great deal of fun.  You grab to the best of the structure and the see is spectacular. A heartfelt many thanks from us with every one of their support,” claimed Bozeman.

The climb live streamed Sunday and reported firefighters once they entered the structure to once they reached the complete line.  Practically a dozen fire departments from the NBC Ideal Now seeing area participated in the climb.
